The Dorgard requires no wiring and can be installed in minutes. Features include a foot-operated manual release mechanism, automatic night-time release facility and integral power-on and low battery LED indicator.

A floor plate is included for especially heavy doors and for installation on doors above slippery floor surfaces. Uses 2 type C batteries supplied. Battery lifetime exceeds the safety policy directive. Conforms to BS7273-4 category C
