Compact Fire Escape Ladders This innovative range of compact folding fire escape ladders comprise tensile steel cable with aluminium rungs and an integral plastic coated steel suspension hook. The hook has a span of 80mm to bridge ballustrades or to suspend from any fixed anchor point. A suspension rail (supplied separately) is available that can be permanently attached beneath a window sill, internal or external wall for fast deployment in an emergency. Once folded will fit easily into a briefcase, desk drawer, cabinet etc. for storage. Available in three differing lengths. 5 metres- suitable for two-storey buildings, 8 metres- suitable for two or three storey buildings and 12 metres, which is suitable for three or four storey buildings.
