Home and Leisure Fire Safety Pack

The Home and Leisure Fire Safety Pack is ideal for use in all parts of the home.

The pack includes a 600g Aerosol ABC Powder Extinguisher (in red) and a 1m x 1m Fire Blanket. The extinguisher has a 5 year warranty.

The Powder Extinguisher can be used for the following applications: domestic, caravan/camping, cars, taxis and rented properties.

The Powder domestic fire extinguisher can be used on wood, paper, textiles, liquid and electrical equipment fires, whilst the Fire Blanket is for use on cooking oil fires.

It is important to fully consider British Standard 5306-8:2012 at clause 5.4.3 when purchasing dry powder fire extinguishers:

The discharge of a powder fire extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction in visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardise escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
