firechief-lithshield-small-fire-suppression-bag
Firechief LithShield Small Fire Suppression Bag

The Firechief LithShield Small Fire Suppression Bag is designed to help contain small devices that use lithium-ion batteries in the event that they go into thermal runaway and set on fire. Lithium-ion battery fires are especially hazardous and cannot be extinguished with traditional fire safety equipment; meaning tailored containment equipment may be necessary to mitigate the fire and reduce its spread, especially in industries like aviation where evacuation may be difficult.

The Firechief LithShield Small Fire Suppression Bag is made from highly temperature resistant quartz fabric, the outer fabric being able to maintain a lower temperature while internal temperatures increase. Suitable for small devices such as smartphones, vapes or any small rechargeable device.

This product has been featured in The Telegraph’s investigation into lithium-ion batteries, to find out how it helped contain the fire you can watch the video here.

Features:

Can withstand huge temperatures of up to 1600°C

Contains flames and projectiles caused by thermal runaway

Highly temperature resistant zip and hook-and-loop fastening

Large pull loop to easily close bag quickly and safely when every second counts

Designed to allow the controlled release of smoke and gases

Fire and heat resistant gloves included

Upgrade to A Package and Save Now

Upgrade to a package and get the 500ml Lith-Ex Fire Extinguisher included to save £5.00 ex VAT over buying the items individually.
